Statement of Faith

Camp Roblealto is an autonomous Christian evangelical organization. The association and its members adhere to the following theological convictions:

  • We believe the Holy Scriptures (the Bible: the Old Testament and New Testament) are the inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, and are the supreme authority and the only rule of faith and practice.

  • We believe in one God, creator and sustainer of the universe, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, in his sinless life, in his death to atone for the sins of man, in his bodily resurrection, in his exaltation at God's right hand, and in his personal return at a time known only to God.

  • We believe that all men have sinned, and are therefore guilty before God, and thus are under condemnation.

  • We believe that God, through the death of his son Jesus Christ, has provided the atonement for sin, so that through repentance and saving faith in Christ, man is freed from the judgment of God and born again into eternal life by the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the deity and personality of the Holy Spirit, who works in man to take him to salvation through Christ.

  • We believe the Holy Spirit resides in every believer to enlighten, guide and train him in his life, witness and service.

  • We believe the church, whose head is Christ, comprises all true believers, and it's mission is to communicate the gospel to the whole world.

  • We believe that every person that has being born again in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit has the duty and personal responsibility to embody and communicate the message of reconciliation of God to men, which tends to free them from their current state of condemnation.

  • We believe in the resurrection of man, in the eternal blessedness of believers in Christ's presence, and in the everlasting and conscious punishment of unbelievers in hell.

  • We believe that all believers are called to live a life of holiness.
